I really wanted to stick to local skills, smaller independent artists and people I found through my network. To keep it personal. I've had a blast working with all of these people.
Robin Raaphorst
Robin was recommended to me by a colleague, and I'm very thankful for that. She is easy to work with, communicative and very skilled. She made the covers for Barley, System and Howl.
Josefine Persson
Josefine is a former colleague of mine from Hazelight (game studio). She's a concept and 2D artist. She's a friend and great to work with. Even when we both were a bit stressed, she provided excellent art. She did the art for Puppeteer.
Bram Bol
Bram Bol and I worked together on "In the Flood" for the Horizon Forbidden West soundtrack. Since I enjoyed working with him so much, I contacted him again for Barley. He's a joy to work with, very expressive and clear and has an excellent understanding of his craft. He provided guitar, baritone guitar, base guitar, percussion and arrangement for Barley.
Wessel Oltheten
I had never worked with a mixing/mastering engineer before working with Wessel. He was recommended to me by a colleague, and turned out to be an incredibly helpful and supportive person, and a phenomenal sound engineer. He mixed and mastered System, Barley and Howl.
